Our office is over in Siddharth Nagar, specifically in the Teka area of Nagpur. We are near the Doodh Dairy Chowk and Kamal Chowk, so there is always something going on nearby. Being close to the Badi Masjid makes it easy for people to find us. We handle a mix of consulting engineering and some contracting work too. This means our days are split between looking at structural plans and actually dealing with the practical side of construction. It is a bit of a messy business sometimes. You have to deal with permits, material costs, and making sure the workers on a site know what they are supposed to be doing. We don’t have a big corporate office with a receptionist and fancy carpets. It’s a functional space where we can roll out big sheets of paper and talk through the technical details of a project. Nagpur is a city that is always building something new, so there is plenty of work to keep us busy. We mostly just focus on getting the calculations right so that whatever gets built is safe and stays that way. Sometimes we have to explain things two or three times to make sure everyone is on the same page, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now and have a good feel for the local area and the people who live and work around Kamal Chowk. It’s just us doing our thing.
