Vadekar Engineering Works

Vadekar Engineering Works is located on Subhash Road, right by the Cotton Market. We are directly opposite Geeta Mandir, which makes it easy for folks to find us. Our workshop is an old-fashioned kind of place. There is oil on the floors and tools hanging on every wall. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We spend our days fixing things and making parts. The noise from the Cotton Market is always in the background, but it’s a sound we have grown to love over the years. Being across from the Mandir, we sometimes hear the bells, which is a nice break from the constant sound of the machines. We don't have a fancy website or a big office. We just have our bench and our skills. Sometimes we have to scratch our heads over a difficult repair, but we usually figure it out eventually. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big corporate talk. We just want to do a solid job so the machine works when it leaves here. The people around Subhash Road are our friends and neighbors. We’ve been here through the hot summers and the rainy seasons, just keeping the doors open and the machines running. It’s a simple life, and we are happy staying right here opposite Geeta Mandir doing what we do every day.
