Rohit Engginering

Rohit Engginering is a small shop located at Shop No 3130 on Hingna Road. We are near the big Mahindra and Mahindra plant in the Digdoh area. Being so close to a major factory means there is always a lot of industrial activity around us. We do various engineering jobs, mostly focusing on repairs and making small parts that people need for their machines. The shop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of tools and a couple of lathes that take up most of the floor space. It’s often quite hot in the afternoons, especially when we are working with the machines, but we have a couple of fans that help a bit. We don't have a polished showroom or anything like that. People just come in through the front shutter and show us what they need fixed. We’ve been here in Digdoh for several years now and we have a steady flow of work from the local businesses. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in ties. We wear work clothes that usually have a few stains on them. We just take one job at a time and try to do it right so the customer can get back to their own work. It’s a quiet life of manual labor and mechanical problem-solving. We like the work we do even if it gets a bit messy sometimes.
