Quadra Design Cell

Our office, Quadra Design Cell, is located in the Dnyanyog building on Deonagar Khamla Road. If you know where Tajshree Honda is in Nagpur, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a good spot in Deonagar, although the traffic on Khamla Road can be a bit much during rush hour. We are a small group of designers and drafters. Most of our day is spent arguing over where a window should go or how to make a kitchen work better. We don't have any corporate slogans or a fancy mission statement. We just try to draw things that make sense for the people living in them. We’ve worked on a variety of houses and shops around Nagpur over the years. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for days, and the floor ends up covered in crumpled paper. It’s just the way we work. We aren't very formal here; you can usually find us in jeans and t-shirts, hunched over our screens. People often drop by without an appointment, and that’s fine with us, though we might be in the middle of a messy project. We focus on the practical side of design, making sure the measurements are right and the materials are available locally. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just doing our job and trying to keep the projects moving along. We like being in this part of Nagpur.
