Abl Engineering

Our shop is at B-44 in the MIDC area of Buti Bori. We’re right near the Bharat Petroleum station, which makes it easy to give directions when people are coming by with deliveries or parts. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machines or trucks moving around in the background. We do engineering work here. It’s a lot of metal, tools, and getting our hands dirty on a daily basis. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings, no matter how much we sweep at the end of the shift. That’s just the nature of the work. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, we’re out on the floor making sure the parts are coming out right. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we’ve got fans and we just keep moving. We’ve been at this for a while now. Some of the machines are old, but they work just fine if you know how to treat them. We handle a variety of jobs, mostly for other businesses nearby. People drop off sketches or parts that need fixing, and we figure out how to get it done. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes we have to stay late to finish a rush job. We don’t mind that. It’s good to be busy. There’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of work head out the door. We’re just a bunch of regular people doing technical work in this part of Buti Bori.
