Our place is located in Mohan Nagar, over in the Khalashi Line area of Nagpur. We are set up at B. R. Dongre’s place. It’s a bit of a quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center, which is nice for studying. We’ve been operating here for a while, focusing on technical training for students who want to learn a trade and get a job. The building isn't anything special, just some classrooms and a small area for practical work in the back. We have some old machinery and tools that the students use to practice their skills. It’s not like those big fancy colleges you see in the glossy brochures. We have a few teachers who come in to give lectures and then we spend the rest of the time in the workshop getting our hands dirty. The rooms can get pretty warm in the Nagpur summer, so we have the windows open most of the time to catch a breeze. There is a small canteen nearby where the students go to get tea and some snacks during the breaks. I spend most of my time handling the admissions and making sure the equipment is still working and hasn't broken down. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with the cleaning and organizing the tools at the end of the day. It’s a practical place for people who want to get some skills and find a job in the factories or workshops around here. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the oil and scrap metal around, but that is part of learning.
