Little Sprouts

Little Sprouts is tucked away in Narendra Nagar, right near the Asmita Buddha Vihar at Plot No. 21. It’s a nice little spot in the Dinprajahit Colony. We started this because there wasn't much for the kids in this neighborhood back then. The building is painted in bright colors, though the sun has faded some of the walls over the years. We have a small yard where the kids can run around when it isn't too hot outside. It’s usually pretty noisy in the mornings with everyone arriving and saying their goodbyes. We keep things pretty relaxed around here. There are piles of toys and picture books in almost every corner. Sometimes the floor is a total mess with crayons or wooden blocks, but we clean it all up at the end of the day. The parents all live nearby, so we know most of the families really well. It’s not a big corporate chain school, just us looking after the little ones while their parents are at work. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make simple snacks. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello since we've been here so long. It feels more like a second home than a school most of the time. We just try to make sure everyone is safe and has a bit of fun while they are with us. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the company. We are just a local part of the community here at Plot No. 21.
