Indo American Montessori Pre School

Indo American Montessori Pre School is based inside the Nirmala College Building on Umred Road in Dighori, Nagpur. Being a preschool, our space is quite different from what you would see in a high school. We have specific Montessori materials that the children use to learn by doing things with their hands. The rooms are usually filled with the sounds of kids talking or singing songs. We have a small group of teachers who are very patient and spend their whole day on the floor with the little ones. It’s a very local operation, and we know most of the parents by their first names. Since we are in the college building, it’s a safe and familiar spot for people in the Dighori area. We don't have a big playground of our own, but we make the most of the space we have. Parents drop their kids off in the morning, and we spend the next few hours working on basic things like colors, shapes, and how to get along with others. It’s not a formal or stiff environment at all. We expect things to be a bit chaotic because that’s just how it is with three and four-year-olds. We don’t use any fancy terms to describe our work. We just provide a place where kids can start their school life in a simple way. We hope they enjoy their time here before they move to bigger schools.
