Gurunanak'S Cradle 2 Crayons

Our little center is at Plot No 240 in the Shree Krupa building. We are located in Dharampeth, which is one of the older, busier parts of Nagpur. Being in the 440010 area means we are close to a lot of things. The place is called Gurunanak'S Cradle 2 Crayons. We deal with very young children, so it’s always lively inside. You can hear music playing or kids laughing most of the day. The building is just a regular one on a residential street. We have set up the rooms with mats and toys and small tables. It's not a corporate daycare; it’s more like a second home for the kids. The staff are all very patient people because you have to be when you work with toddlers. We spend our time feeding them, playing games, and making sure they take their naps. Nagpur gets incredibly hot during the summer, so we keep the kids indoors and make sure they drink plenty of water. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans. We just show up and take care of the children while their parents are at work. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the work. The parents know us well and often stop to chat when they pick up their kids. It’s a nice, simple setup in a good neighborhood. Most people around here know the building, so we are easy to find.
