Lic Housing Finance

Prashant Nimje runs things here at K 203 in the Greenwoods Apartments. We are located right on the Andheri Kurla Road in Andheri East, Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this road can get at almost any hour of the day. The noise of the traffic is always there in the background, but inside the apartment complex, it’s a bit more manageable. This is where we handle the Lic Housing Finance work. It’s not a huge office with a lobby; it’s a professional but lived-in space within the building. We deal with a lot of home loan papers and property documents. The files can get pretty thick, and we spend a lot of time double-checking signatures and bank statements. The Mumbai humidity can be tough, so the fans are always on high. We aren't trying to be some big, polished firm. We just help people get their housing finance sorted so they can buy their own place. Sometimes clients come in and we sit around the table in the main room to go over the numbers. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the process well. It’s a busy life here in Andheri, but we make sure the work gets done and the papers are filed where they belong at the end of every day. There is always a lot of tea consumed to keep us going through the afternoon.
