Arowana Consulting also has this spot in Hyderabad, specifically Flat No 103 in the Krishna Residency at Madinaguda. It is essentially an apartment that we have converted into an office space. Because it is a residency, it stays pretty quiet most of the time. We have turned the living room area into a workspace with a few desks shoved against the walls. The kitchen is mostly used for making endless rounds of tea and coffee. We have a balcony, but it’s mostly used for storing empty boxes and an old spare tire. Madinaguda is a growing area, so there is always some construction noise in the distance. We like being in a flat because it feels less formal than a big office block. You have to ring the bell at the gate to get in, which sometimes takes a minute if the watchman is away. The flooring is basic tile and we have some simple curtains to keep the glare off the laptop screens. We don't really do big advertising; most people find us through word of mouth or by looking up the address. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head out once the sun goes down. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business without all the bells and whistles.
