We are based out in Koradi, right on Chhindwara Road. The office is in Vidyut Vihar, which is pretty convenient for what we do. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so it feels a bit more isolated and quiet out here. The air is different, a bit more industrial. We deal with power-related work, so there’s a lot of technical talk around the water cooler. The building is a standard setup, nothing too fancy. We have a lot of maps and diagrams pinned to the walls. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot, so we rely on the fans quite a bit. There’s a lot of coming and going with the staff. Some are heading out to the plants while others are finishing their shifts. We’ve got a routine that rarely changes. The morning starts with a quick briefing, and then everyone gets to their station. We have a small canteen area where we sit and eat lunch together. It’s mostly talk about the weather or the local news. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a place where the work happens. We try to keep things organized, but with so many people moving through, the files tend to pile up on the desks. It’s a long day, but we get the job done before heading back home. The commute is the hardest part, but we have all gotten used to the drive along the highway. Most of us have worked here for years.
