We are H.S. Tagore Engineers And Contrctor, and our office is G/4 in Girish Height, located in Sadar Bazar. Working in Sadar Bazar is an experience because it is one of the busiest places you can imagine. There are people and goods moving everywhere at all hours of the day. Girish Height is a bit of an older building, but it stands out in the crowd. Our office is on the ground level, tucked away in the G/4 unit. It’s a small space, mostly filled with blueprints, maps, and stacks of contracts that need signing. There isn't much room to move around when we have a full crew in, but it keeps everyone close. The air outside is always full of the smells of the market, from street food to exhaust fumes. We usually have a lot of people coming in and out, mostly workers or suppliers checking on project details. The phone rings a lot, and there is always someone looking for a specific drawing or a tool. We keep a big calendar on the wall to track where everyone is supposed to be. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have our own system that makes sense to us. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but there is always something left to prep for the next morning. It’s just the nature of the contracting business in a city like this.
