Hdfc Standard Life

We are based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, right in the heart of the orange city. Our office is a typical local branch for Hdfc Standard Life. It’s quite hot here for most of the year, so we keep the fans going at full speed. The office itself is pretty simple. We have the usual desks, some plastic chairs for people to sit on, and rows of binders on the shelves. We don't use any of that fancy management talk you hear in the big cities. We just talk like normal people. Most of us have lived in Nagpur our whole lives, so we know the local dialect and the local ways. We spend our days processing forms and answering questions about life insurance. It’s a lot of mundane work, but we stay focused on it. We usually bring dabbas from home for lunch and sit together for a bit. The street outside is usually busy with scooters and cars. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We are just here to handle the practical side of things. If someone has a problem with their policy, they come here, and we look into the computer to see what can be done. It’s a plain, honest workspace. We do our best to keep up with the files and the phone calls. It’s just a standard office where we do our daily jobs without any fuss. We close up at the usual time and head home.
