Our office is tucked away in the Excise Colony area of Nagpur, right near Pratap Nagar Square at A 65. If you are from around here, you know the Telecom Nagar side is a mix of quiet homes and busy intersections. We get the morning sunlight hitting the front of the building, which is nice until it gets really hot later on. Nagpur heat is no joke, so we mostly stay inside. Being at the Square means there is always a bit of a buzz outside with scooters and rickshaws going past. It is a decent spot for a bank branch because it is easy for people in the colony to just walk over. We are not doing anything groundbreaking here, just the usual bank work. We see people from the nearby offices and a lot of families who have lived in Pratap Nagar for years. The space inside is functional, nothing too fancy. We keep our files stacked and our pens mostly working. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power flickers, but that is just how things go. We know the local chai wala and usually get a round in for the staff around 4 PM. It is a very local feel, not like those giant corporate offices in the bigger cities. We just focus on getting the entries right and making sure the people who come in are not waiting too long in the Maharashtra heat. It is a simple life here in the 440022 area.
