Gulshan Agricultural Foundation

We are located at Suphalam Building in Byramji Town, over in the Chaoni area of Nagpur. Even though we are in the city, our hearts are really out in the fields where the actual work happens. This foundation was started to help bridge the gap between the farms and the town life. It is not a very big operation, just a few rooms where we handle the paperwork and meet with people coming in from the surrounding villages. Nagpur is a busy place, and sometimes it feels like the farmers get forgotten in all the noise. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to check on different plots of land. Our office is practical and a bit crowded with files and samples of grain. We don't have a lot of time for polished presentations or fancy talk. We just focus on the practical side of agriculture, like getting the right seeds to the right people. Some days are better than others, especially when the harvest comes in well. We have had our share of setbacks too, but that is part of the job. It is just a group of us trying to make sense of the market and helping out where we can. We are just regular people doing our best with what we have.
