Our place is right in the middle of Lakad Ganj, on Plot 209. If you know the area, we're tucked in near Timber Bhavan and Kalka Timber Mart. It gets pretty noisy and crowded around here with all the trucks and wood moving back and forth. We've been operating out of this spot for a good while now. It’s mostly just us handling orders and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. The office is small and usually has stacks of papers and ledgers everywhere. We aren't really the type for polished meetings or fancy suits. Usually, someone is shouting over the sound of a truck loading outside. Being in this part of town means you’re always surrounded by the smell of cut wood and dust. It's a lot of manual work. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. Some days are slow, but mostly it's just a constant stream of people coming in to check on their stuff. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always look that way to an outsider. It’s just how we run the agency. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the market over the years, but our little corner here stays pretty much the same. It's a practical way to make a living and we're used to the grit of the timber yard. It works for us and keeps us busy from morning till night.
