Saroj Amma Traders

Saroj Amma Traders is located on Mahatma Gandhi Marg. It’s a central spot, so we see a lot of traffic passing by our doors every day. We are a trading business, so we handle a bit of everything that comes through. The front of the shop is usually filled with sacks and crates that just arrived. We spend a lot of our time unloading stuff and then loading it back up for customers. It’s physical work, and we’re often tired by the end of the day. The building is an older one, with high ceilings and thick walls that help a bit with the afternoon sun. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that click as they spin. Mahatma Gandhi Marg is a busy road, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background. We have a small area in the back where we keep the books and take a break. Usually, there’s some tea and biscuits around. We don't use any fancy systems; we just keep track of what comes in and what goes out. The floor is made of old stone and gets swept every morning, but it’s dusty again by noon. We’ve been operating from this address for quite some time now. People know they can find us here on the main road. It’s just a straightforward trading house. We do our work, talk to the transporters, and keep things moving.
