Gotey Engineers

If you are looking for us, we are up on the 5th floor of the Rachana Rutuparna building. The address is Plot No-501 on Rpts Road, right in the Laxmi Nagar area. It is a bit of a climb if the elevator is having one of its bad days, which happens more often than we would like. Gotey Engineers is basically a quiet office where we spend our time on technical drawings and planning out projects. We do not have any heavy machinery or loud tools here. It is just us and our computer screens. We have a pretty good view of the neighborhood from our windows, which is nice when you need a break from looking at blueprints. We started this office because we wanted to work for ourselves. There are usually three of us in here most days. We drink way too much tea and spend a lot of time arguing over small details in the designs. We do not do any fancy advertising or have a big sign on the street. People usually find us because someone else told them we do okay work. We like being a small operation. It means we can actually sit down and talk to the people we are working for without a lot of red tape. Rpts Road has some great food stalls nearby, so we usually head down there for lunch. We just keep doing our work, one project at a time. It is a steady life here.
