We are based over at the Mihan Special Economic Zone on Wardha Road. It’s a big area, and Dristti Structural Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has a spot near Hingna. If you drive out this way, you'll see a lot of construction and big buildings going up. Our work involves a lot of technical drawings and looking at steel structures. It sounds more exciting than it is. Most days are spent looking at blueprints and making sure the measurements are right. The office is often full of rolled-up papers and coffee mugs. We aren't the type of people to wear suits or have big presentations. We usually just wear jeans and boots because we have to go out to the sites quite often. The sun can be really harsh out here near Nagpur, so we try to get the site visits done early. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the buildings we work on don't fall down. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels normal. The SEZ is a bit far from the city center, so it’s a long drive every day. But once you’re here, it’s quiet enough to actually get some thinking done. We just do our engineering work and head back home. That is pretty much our entire routine.
