Dewani Associates

Dewani Associates is situated in Immamwada, which is right near the Jayaanti Ground in Nagpur. If you know Nagpur, you know it gets incredibly hot here during the summer months. Our office is a simple place where we spend most of our time. We can usually hear the sounds of people playing cricket or kids shouting over at the ground when the windows are open. It’s a very local vibe. The building isn't new, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust that you find in a lot of offices around here. We have a few wooden desks and some plastic chairs for when people stop by to chat or drop off documents. Most of us have been around for years, so we have a rhythm to how we work. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay cool while we go through the files. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We like being near the ground because it feels more open than being stuck in a crowded market street. We just keep to ourselves and make sure the work is finished by the time the sun starts to set. It is a steady life here in Maharashtra.
