We are based out of Vakilpeth in Nagpur, right near Hanuman Nagar. Cds Geotech India Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit now. It is a local operation where we spend most of our time looking at soil samples and figuring out what is going on underground. The office is at C O Padghane, and it is a pretty normal place, nothing too fancy. We have a few desks and some equipment for the geotech work we do. Most days start with tea and then we look at the site reports. Nagpur can get really hot, so we try to get the field work done early in the morning before it gets unbearable. It is not always easy work, digging around and testing different layers of earth, but someone has to do it. We handle a lot of different projects around Maharashtra, though our main base is here in the 440009 zip code area. People around here know us for being straightforward about the results. We do not try to sugarcoat the data. If the soil is bad for building, we just say so. It is just how we operate. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the maps and soil jars everywhere, but we know where everything is. It is a practical setup for people who like getting their hands dirty and understanding the land. We have been part of the local community in Nagpur for a while and just keep doing our thing day by day.
