Our office is over at Plot No:1219 in Buddha Nagar, specifically in Unit No:2. To get here, you have to go behind Anand Buddha Vihar and follow the Hanuman Mandir line. It’s a bit of a winding path if you aren’t familiar with the layout of Nagpur-440017, but it’s a quiet enough area once you arrive. The temple nearby means we get to hear the sounds of the community throughout the day. The building itself is sturdy and keeps the heat out pretty well, which is important during those really hot Nagpur summers. Inside, the space is divided up into a few different rooms. We have a small area where we keep the water cooler and a few chairs for guests. The desks are nothing special, just standard wooden ones that we’ve had for years. There’s a bit of dust that accumulates on the windowsills no matter how often we wipe them down, probably because of the construction going on a few blocks over. We’ve got a lot of old files stored in the back that we probably should sort through one day, but for now, they just sit there. It’s a simple, functional place where the work gets done without much fuss. We know the neighbors, and sometimes we share a quick word over the gate. It feels like a very grounded part of the city to be working in every day. The routine keeps us busy, and we just handle things as they come.
