Our office for A.J. Chavan & Bros Engg & Cont is located in Shwetambari Plaza. We are right in the Dajibanpeth area, and if you know where the Ganesh Temple is, we are very close to that. It’s a busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside our windows. My brothers and I have been in the engineering and contracting business for a long time. We don't spend too much time worrying about how the office looks. It’s mostly filled with stacks of papers, old blueprints, and some samples of materials. We are usually out on the job sites, so the office is just a place to catch up on paperwork and meet people. Dajibanpeth has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. The bells from the temple are a sound we hear every day. It’s a nice reminder of where we are. We don't have any big missions or fancy slogans. We just take on contracts and see them through to the end. Some days are long and we don't get home until late. We’ve had to deal with all sorts of delays and problems, but that is just how the contracting world works. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of departments. It’s just us working together and trying to stay busy. People know us in Shwetambari Plaza and we like being part of the local scene here. It is just basic work.
