If you go behind the Rahul Hotel near the St Bus Stand, you will see Shop No. A-1 and B-2. That is Ahram Refrigeration & Engineer. Being in the Nit Complex in Ganesh Peth means there is always something going on. The buses are constantly pulling in and out, so there is a lot of noise and exhaust. Our shop is full of old fridge parts and tools. It’s not the neatest place, but we know exactly where the specific wrench or copper pipe is hiding. We spend most of our time hunched over cooling units or fixing motors. It’s a bit cramped with two shop units joined together, but we need the space for the bigger machines. People come by after getting off the bus to ask if we can fix something they brought from home. We stay busy because things are always breaking down in this heat. Ganesh Peth is a crowded area, and parking is a nightmare, but we have been here long enough that we don’t mind. The tea stall nearby does a good business because everyone stops there while waiting for their repairs. It is just a regular engineering shop doing refrigeration work. We don't have a website or anything, just the sign above the door and the work we do with our hands every day.
