The Oberoi, Bangalore

Even though the name says The Oberoi, Bangalore, we are actually situated at 333/1, Second Cross Ramanuja Road in Fort Mohalla, Mysore. It is a bit confusing for some people at first, but this is where you will find us. Ramanuja Road is a pretty well-known street around here, and being in Fort Mohalla gives the place a certain feel that you only get in Mysore. The building has been here for a while and it sits right in the middle of a very local, active neighborhood. You can see people going about their daily lives, heading to the markets or the nearby temples. Inside, it’s just us trying to keep things organized and making sure everyone who stays with us is comfortable. It isn’t about being flashy or acting like a big corporate entity. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks like changing linens, checking people in, and answering the front desk phone. The hallways are usually quiet, and we try to keep it that way so people can actually rest. Sometimes the weather in Mysore gets really nice in the evenings, and you can feel a breeze coming through the windows. We don't have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just make sure the rooms are ready and that the place stays clean for whoever needs a spot to sleep in Mysore. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time.
