Hotel Sapthagiri

You’ll find Hotel Sapthagiri tucked away on 10th Main in Kuvempunagar. It’s on the 7th Cross, which is a fairly quiet part of Mysore compared to the city center. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time. The neighborhood is mostly houses and some small shops, so it doesn't feel like a big commercial zone. Getting here is easy if you know the Kuvempunagar area, but sometimes the cross streets get a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. We have a lot of students and families living nearby. The morning starts early with the sound of milk deliveries and people heading to the parks. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything, just a regular building that serves its purpose. Inside, it’s just plain rooms and a lobby where the fan is usually running. The staff stays busy with laundry and keeping the floors mopped because of the dust. Mysore has its own pace, and we definitely follow that here. We aren't trying to be a five-star place, just a spot for people to sleep when they are in town for a wedding or visiting relatives. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to call the guy to fix it, but we get by. It’s a simple life running a hotel in this part of town. Most of our guests are regulars who know exactly where the key is kept.
