About Bava Coffee Powder – Food & Beverages in Mysuru
Bava Coffee Powder is based out of a small place at 53 Subbaiah Road in Chettalli, over in Siddapur. It’s a quiet area, mostly known for its greenery and the coffee that grows around here. We’ve been working out of this building for a long time. It’s not much to look at from the outside, just a sturdy old place where we grind and pack our powder. The air inside always smells like roasted beans, which stays on your clothes even after you go home. We do things mostly by hand or with older machines that we know how to fix ourselves. It’s a small family-type setup, really. We don't go for big advertising or try to sound like a huge corporation. We just know the coffee and we know the people who buy it. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the beans before they go into the grinder. It’s a dusty job, and your hands get stained dark by the end of the shift, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the coffee powder we produce is the same as it was years ago. If you ever find yourself on Subbaiah Road, you’ll likely hear the machines humming away. It’s just us, doing what we’ve always done in this corner of Siddapur. No frills, just coffee. We usually wrap things up by late afternoon and go home to have a cup of our own.
