Cafe Tango

We are tucked away on the first floor of the Shree Complex. Most people find us because they are looking for the Raymond showroom across the street. It’s a busy spot here on New Kanthraj Urs Road. We’ve been in Kuvempunagar for a while now. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't expecting them, but once you get up here, it is a decent place to sit. We opened Cafe Tango because the area needed a place where people could just hang out without too much noise. We don't have fancy decor or anything like that. It's just some chairs and tables and us. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but that's just Mysore life. Being at No.31 makes us easy to find if you know the landmark. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up and getting the place ready. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is clean and the lights are on. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is a nice part of being here. People come in after shopping or while waiting for their clothes across the street. It’s a simple setup. We didn't want anything too polished. Just a regular spot for regular people in this part of town. If you're walking around Kuvempunagar and need a break, you'll see our sign. It's not flashy, but we're here every day.
