Beer Garden

Beer Garden is tucked inside the Parklane Hotel over on Sri Harsha Road in Mysore. It has been part of Mandi Mohalla for quite a few years now. The setup is mostly outdoors, which is nice when the Mysore weather is behaving itself. We get a mix of people staying at the hotel and locals who just want a place to hang out for a bit. It is not the quietest place, especially on the weekends, but it has got a good enough feel to it. The staff here has been around a long time, so we mostly know how everyone likes things to be. We are right at number 2720, so it is easy to walk to if you are around the city center. Sometimes the trees drop leaves on the tables, but we try to keep up with it as best as we can. It is a pretty laid-back spot where nobody is really in a hurry to get anywhere. You can hear the city noise from the street, but it feels a bit separate once you are actually inside. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor, just some sturdy tables and chairs under the open sky. It works for what it is. A lot of regulars come back because they know what to expect here. It is just a reliable spot in a busy part of town. We are open most days and stay busy until late.
