Chai Patthe is situated over in Vani Vilas Mohalla on 6th Main. The exact spot is No.2683/1, right at the 12th Cross. If you know where Brigade Point is, we are tucked just behind it. Mysore is a bit quieter than other cities, and our neighborhood has a nice, calm feel to it. We aren't a big corporate establishment. It’s a local tea shop where we spend our days working. We have regular customers who come by at the same time every afternoon without fail. We know their orders before they even sit down. The space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. We spend our time boiling water, steeping leaves, and cleaning up the cups. It’s honest work that keeps us busy. We don't use fancy advertisements to get people in. Most folks find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor down the street. The building is simple and doesn't have a lot of decoration. We try to keep the noise down so it stays a peaceful place to have a drink and think. Vani Vilas Mohalla is a good area with plenty of trees around the streets. We like being part of the community here. There is always someone dropping in to tell us some news or just to rest their feet for a minute. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make sure the tea is hot and the seats are available for whoever needs them. It’s just a small business trying to serve the folks nearby.
