The Orchids Public School And Pu College

Out here in Bogadi, near Mysore, we’ve got this school and PU college running. It’s located in Kumarabeedu. The campus has been around for a bit and it feels like a part of the local scenery now. We have students coming in from different parts of the city every morning. The gates open early and the noise doesn't stop until late afternoon. We have both the younger kids and the college students sharing the space. It gets crowded during break times. The buildings are plain, just classrooms with desks and boards. We spend our time checking attendance and making sure the classes are moving along. Sometimes the weather in Mysore is nice and we see kids sitting under the trees. Other times it's just a rush to get inside before it rains. Staff rooms are always full of notebooks and tea cups. It’s a lot of management work. We deal with the local bus schedules and parents coming in to ask about exams. It isn't a flashy place, just a regular educational setup in the 570026 area. Everyone here knows someone who studied at Orchids. We try to keep the grounds decent, though the grass grows too fast sometimes. It’s just our daily life here, managing the syllabus and the kids. We focus on the everyday tasks and the needs of the students who walk through our doors.
