Kautilya Vidyalaya (Ni)

You can find Kautilya Vidyalaya over in Dattagalli, specifically in the J Block of Kanakadasa Nagar. We are at No.9/1 on the 13th Main road. Mysore has expanded quite a bit into this 3rd Stage area, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood as it grew. The school is a place where we try to keep things simple and focused on the students. We have a mix of experienced teachers and younger staff members who all live around this part of town. The building itself is a solid structure that has seen many batches of students pass through its doors. Mornings are usually the busiest time with parents dropping off their kids and the school buses arriving. We have a small playground that gets a lot of use during the lunch breaks. It’s not a perfect place—sometimes a door squeaks or a light needs replacing—but we keep on top of things as best as we can. We don't go in for big advertisements; most people know us because they live just a few streets away. The classrooms are basic but functional, with plenty of room for the kids to sit and do their work. We follow the standard curriculum and try to make sure every child gets the attention they need. It’s a very grounded, local school that fits into the daily life of the Kanakadasa Nagar community. We just focus on the day-to-day job of running a school.
