St Philominas High School

St Philominas High School is situated on B N Road in the Narasimharaja Mohalla area of Mysore. Our pin code is 570007, and we are quite close to the heart of the city. Being in Mysore, we have a lot of history around us, and the school has been here for many years. It is a high school, so the students are a bit older and starting to think about their exams and what comes next. The building has high ceilings and big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice on sunny days. We have a regular routine that doesn't change much from year to year. The bells ring, the students go to class, and the teachers do their best with the books we have. It is not a place with a lot of expensive equipment. We rely on the basics. You will often see the students gathered in groups near the entrance before school starts. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there is always the sound of scooters and cars passing by outside. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for decades and some newer faces too. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People in Narasimharaja Mohalla just know us because we have been a part of the local landscape for so long. It is just a place where kids come to grow up.
