St George'S Grammar School

St George'S Grammar School is located right here in Kanakadasa Nagar. We are at No 438, just near the corner of 5th Main and 8th Cross. It is a quiet part of Mysore most of the time, except when school starts or lets out. We have been operating out of this building for some years. It is not a very big place, but we fit everyone in. The staff lives mostly nearby so we know the area well. We spend our days going through textbooks and making sure the kids stay on track. There is always someone cleaning the hallways or fixing a broken chair. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just gets around from one neighbor to another. You can see the kids walking to school in their uniforms every morning. We try to keep things organized but with children, there is always a bit of chaos. The 8th Cross road gets a little busy with bicycles and parents dropping off their little ones. Inside, it smells like chalk and old paper. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day's lessons. It is a plain, honest kind of place. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students have what they need for their exams. It is just how things are done here in Mysore. We try to keep a steady routine for everyone.
