St Agatha Model High School

St Agatha Model High School is tucked away at No.4646/1 on 1st Cross, Shivaji Road. We are in the Narasimharaja Mohalla area of Mysore, which is a place with a lot of history and narrow streets. The school building is right there in the middle of everything, surrounded by houses and small shops. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long—scooters buzzing by, people calling out to each other, and the general hum of a busy residential zone. Our school isn’t some massive campus with a fence you can’t see over. It’s a local building where the neighbors are just a few feet away. The classrooms are simple, with high ceilings and old-style windows that let in the light. We spend our days making sure the kids are in their seats and the teachers have enough chalk and paper. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or we have to repaint a wall that’s looking a bit dull, but we manage. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We don't have a big fancy office for the principal; it’s just a room with a desk and a lot of files piled up. Most of the kids walk here from the nearby streets in NR Mohalla. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense school that has been a part of this street for quite a while now, and we just keep it running day by day without any fuss.
