Sri Paras Jain School. You can find us at No 4669 in the Rajput Block of Narasimharaja Mohalla. It’s a residential part of Mysore, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market areas. We are on the 3rd Cross. The school is a simple building that blends in with the houses around it. We’ve got children from the local mohalla coming here for their classes. It’s the kind of place where parents walk their kids to the gate every morning. We have a few small classrooms and a little office where we keep all the records. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the corridors can get crowded during the break times. We don't have a big field, so the kids usually play in the small courtyard or the lane right outside. The teachers here have been part of the neighborhood for years. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and arithmetic. There’s no big assembly hall, so we usually gather in the courtyard for the morning prayer. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with charts and maps for now. Mysore weather is usually nice, so we don't mind the open windows. It’s a humble school. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just provide a place for local kids to learn in their own neighborhood without having to travel far.
