Super Plastic Industries

Our place is at 3208/8 on C.V. Road. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the machines humming long before you see the door. Super Plastic Industries has been here for a long time, and the building shows it. The walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners, but the machines inside work just fine. We mostly deal with raw plastic materials and molding. It gets quite warm inside because of the heaters we use, so we keep the big doors open as much as we can. The street outside is always crowded, so getting deliveries in is a bit of a headache sometimes. My nephew helps me with the accounts now, which is good because the paperwork was getting to be too much for me. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk right into the workshop and find us near the back. We have a small table where we keep the ledger and a teapot. Most of our customers have been coming to this same spot on C.V. Road for ten or twenty years. They know we just focus on getting the parts made. We don’t change things much around here unless something breaks down completely. It’s a steady life, just handling the plastic and making sure the orders are ready on time for the local shops.
