Amruth Herbal

Our shop is at 18/195 in K.R. Nagar, right across from the Shafi Masadi Muslim Block. If you stand at our front door, you can see the mosque clearly. It’s a busy little area with a lot of foot traffic, especially during prayer times. Inside, it usually smells like dried leaves and roots because of all the herbal stuff we handle. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with jars and packets that we’ve labeled by hand. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. My cousin helps out with the packing, and sometimes we have a neighbor’s kid come in to help sweep up. The fan above the main counter wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in with questions about different plants and mixtures. It’s more of a community spot than a corporate office. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. People mostly find out about Amruth Herbal by word of mouth or by just walking past us on their way to the market. The walls are a pale yellow color that’s starting to peel in the corners, but nobody seems to mind. We just keep doing our work, day in and day out, in our little corner of the block. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but we’re used to it after all these years of being here.
