About Wood Life – Industrial Plant & Machines in Mysore
We’ve been tucked away in the Yadavagiri Industrial Estate at C-186 for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the second stage where we are. Usually, the first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of sawdust and the sound of the saws running. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We spend most of our time out on the floor, getting our hands dirty and making sure things are cut right. Some days it’s quiet, just a couple of us working through a pile of timber, and other days it’s a bit of a madhouse trying to get everything loaded onto the trucks. We don't have a big marketing team or a front desk person sitting around. Most of the time, if you call, you’re talking to one of us who just stepped away from a machine. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is working in an industrial area like this one. Wood Life has a lot of scraps piled up in the corners, and the floors always need a sweep, but we focus more on the work than on how the place looks to outsiders. People around here know where to find us if they need something sturdy. It’s just honest work, really. We show up early, drink too much tea, and try to get through the orders before the sun goes down. It’s been that way for years.
