Dohari Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Village-Dohari in the Shivpur part of Jamalpur. If you are looking for where we hang out, it is over at Neha’s place. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to get organized under the name Dohari Farmer Producer Company Limited. It wasn't anything fancy, just a few of us talking about how hard it is to get things done alone. Now we work together on our crops and try to figure out the best way to handle the seasons. The ground here is good but you have to work it right. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids, learning from our fathers. We spend most of our days out in the fields and then meet up to discuss what seeds we need or how the market is looking. It’s a quiet life in the village, nothing like the big cities. We don't have a big office with computers and all that. It is just a table and some chairs where we sit and talk. Everyone knows everyone else here. If you walk into Dohari and ask for us, someone will point you the right way. We are just trying to make a living and keep our farms going for the next generation. It’s a lot of sweat and long hours under the sun, but that is what we know. We are just simple people doing our jobs in the dirt. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being flashy.
