Jamalpur Agriculture Farmers Producer Company Limited is located over in Sikandarpur, Jamalpur, right at Ashok Kumar Singh’s place. He’s the son of Bhagwan Das, and many of us have known the family for years. Farming is the main thing for us out here. We don't have fancy ways of doing things, just the regular work that’s been passed down. A bunch of us farmers from the village and the nearby spots decided to pool our resources together. It makes things a bit simpler when we need to buy seeds or move our harvests. Sometimes the weather in Sikandarpur is tough on the crops, but that is just how it is with agriculture. You take the good days with the bad. We spend most of our time out on the land or chatting about the next season’s plans. It’s not a formal setup where everything is polished. It’s more about real people doing real work. When you come by Jamalpur, you see how much effort goes into every field. We are just trying to keep our farming going and help the folks around here get a fair shake. There is always something to do, whether it's fixing a tool or checking the irrigation. We don't talk much about goals or anything like that, we just focus on the daily tasks. It’s a group effort, and everyone in the company puts in their share of the hard labor to keep things moving. We just take it one day at a time.
