Yak Impex

We are located in Mumbai with the pincode 400008. This area, around Byculla and Mumbai Central, is one of the busiest and oldest parts of the city. It’s full of history and constant movement. Yak Impex has its roots here among the crowded streets and the old buildings that have seen so much change over the years. The atmosphere is always energetic, with the sound of traffic and people everywhere. Our workspace is pretty basic. We don't have a lot of extra room, so we have to be organized with our stock and our files. It gets quite noisy outside, but you learn to work through it. We spend our days managing orders and talking to clients on the phone. There isn't anything fancy about how we do things. It’s just about being here every day and making sure the work gets finished. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the streets a bit difficult to navigate, but we still make it in to open up. We usually have a cup of tea in the morning before the real rush starts. It’s a very traditional Mumbai way of working, where you are right in the middle of all the action. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves; we are just a local business doing our part in this big city. The walls might need a bit of paint, but the work we do here is what really matters to us.
