Emerging India Import Export

Our office is at number 31 in the Shrinivas Avadhoot Society. If you’re familiar with Dombivli West, we’re right on Nana Shankar Shet Road in Vishnu Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, which is nice. Emerging India Import Export is where we handle a lot of the paperwork for shipping things in and out. There are always stacks of documents on the desks and the printer is usually running. We spend a lot of time checking tracking numbers and calling customs agents. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office has a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We have a small balcony where we sometimes take a break to get some air. The traffic on Nana Shankar Shet Road can get pretty loud during the evening rush hour. Sometimes the couriers arrive late, and we have to wait around for them. We try to keep things moving as fast as possible so nothing gets stuck at the port. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We know the local shops well and often go out for a quick snack in the afternoon. It feels more like a small family here than a big company. We just try to get the work done right so there aren't any headaches later on. It gets busy, but we make sure every box is checked before the end of the day.
