Navkar Exim

Navkar Exim is on the 3rd floor over at Dadar West. The address is CS No. 1403 on Bhawani Shankar Road. We are right besides Sharda Ashram School. You can usually hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing from our windows. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the Mumbai heat. Dadar is always crowded, so just getting to the office is a bit of a workout every morning. Our space is filled with samples and boxes because we do a lot of export and import work. It’s not the neatest office you’ve ever seen. There are stacks of paper on almost every flat surface. We have a small kitchenette where we make tea, but the sink leaks a little bit. We’ve been meaning to get it fixed for months. We mostly deal with vendors and shipping agents over the phone or email. We aren't big on marketing ourselves or anything. We just focus on making sure the goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, and climbing those three floors is a real pain, especially with heavy bags. But we’ve been here a while and we’re used to the quirks of the building and the neighborhood. It’s just how things are at Navkar Exim.
