We are based out of Mumbai and we run the website Www.Akshay.Com. Even though our name is a web address, we are just a bunch of regular people working from a small space here in the city. Mumbai is a busy place, and that energy definitely carries over into how we work. We don't have a big corporate office with a view of the ocean. It’s more of a practical setup with computers and servers tucked into a corner. We spend our days coding, updating content, and making sure the site doesn't crash. It sounds technical, and it is, but it’s also just a lot of routine tasks. Sometimes we are up late fixing something that went wrong, and other times things run smoothly for weeks. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. We just focus on the site itself. Since we are in Mumbai, we are close to everything, which is helpful. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. It’s a lot of trial and error because the internet changes so fast. We don't use fancy titles for ourselves. We just do the work that needs to be done to keep the site going. It’s a bit of a quiet existence compared to the noise of the city outside, but we like the balance. We just keep plugging away at the keyboard and seeing where the digital side of things takes us next.
