World Trade Incorporation

World Trade Incorporation is over at Jasmin House on 14 Convent Ste. That’s in Colaba. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our office is in one of those older buildings. It has high ceilings and a bit of a dusty feel, but it’s home. We do a lot of trading from this spot. There’s always someone coming in with a delivery or a question. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door answers it. The street outside is narrow, so parking is a nightmare. We mostly walk or take the bus. Inside, there are stacks of papers and samples of things we trade. It looks a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Mostly. We spend our days coordinating between buyers and sellers. It’s a lot of coordination. Colaba is a great place because everything is close by. We’ve been at Jasmin House for quite some time now. The building has some character. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental. We just fix it and keep going. We aren’t trying to be some massive global firm with glass walls. We are just World Trade Incorporation, working out of a small street in Mumbai. It’s a busy life, but it suits us. We just focus on the orders and making sure the trade goes through as planned. It’s a lot of back-and-forth but we manage to get everything sorted by the end of the day.
