Windia Power Ltd

Windia Power Ltd is on the second floor of Empire House, room 214. If you know Dr. D. N. Road, you know it’s right in the middle of everything. The building is one of those classic ones with a lot of character. We’ve been here for a while now. Our focus is on power, specifically wind energy. It’s a lot of technical talk and checking maps of where the wind blows hardest. The office is usually quiet, just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We don't have a big reception area with a fancy coffee machine or a receptionist. We just have a kettle in the back for making tea. The windows look out onto the street, and sometimes we just watch the people walking by when we need a short break. It's a busy life here in Mumbai. We have engineers coming in and out from different sites across the country. They usually bring a lot of dust with them from the field. We don't mind. It’s part of the job. We try to keep things simple. No big corporate speeches or long meetings about nothing. We just look at the data and try to keep the turbines turning out there. It’s hard work and it takes a lot of planning. Sometimes things don’t go right, and we have to stay late to figure it out. That's just how it is. We like being in Empire House. It feels like we are part of the history of the city. We're just here to do our bit.
