If you’re heading through Andheri West, you might have passed by the Shah Ind.Estate without thinking much of it. We’re located inside at 23A, specifically at 12-13 Jyoti Wire House. Apar Industries Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a while now. The estate is always buzzing with people and vehicles, which is just how things go in this part of Mumbai. Our space is pretty packed with stuff, from old files to the equipment we use daily. It isn't the quietest place to work, but it has a certain energy that keeps us going. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we handle all the administrative bits and the more hands-on parts of the business. You won’t find any marble floors or glass walls here. It’s just a regular industrial unit that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We try to keep things tidy, but it's a working environment, so there's always something out of place. Most of us take the train or bus and then walk the rest of the way, which can be a bit of a trek in the rain. We know the security guards and the chai seller nearby pretty well by now. It’s just a standard, hardworking office where we deal with the realities of the industry every single day. We don’t put on any acts; we just show up and do what needs doing.
