Meco Meters Pvt.Ltd.

Our place is out in Mahape, specifically in the TTC Industrial Area. We are at Plot No. El-60 in the MIDC Electronic Zone. It is a very industrial kind of place, lots of trucks and big buildings all around us. Meco Meters Pvt.Ltd. has been operating from here for a good amount of time. The office has that smell of old paper and metal, which I guess is common for an electronics area. We spend most of the day checking meters and looking at technical sheets. The MIDC zone is quite large, so it took some of the newer guys a bit of time to stop getting lost on the way in. There is a small canteen nearby where we get our tea. It is not exactly quiet here with all the machinery running in the neighboring units, but it is where the work gets done. We have got benches set up for testing and a few old chairs in the waiting area. It is a practical setup, nothing for show. Mahape can be a bit of a trek for some, but it is where the heart of the industry is. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a straightforward operation we have got going on here at El-60. No fancy carpets or paintings on the walls, just a functional space for people who know about meters.
